Our Services...
We take great pride in producing happy, healthy puppies that are intelligent, eager to please and have wonderful temperaments. Our main goal is to provide families, as well as individuals with a puppy that will become a treasured family member for all the years of it's life! We are always willing to help with any questions or concerns at anytime during the puppy's life. We consider all our Doodle pups as our extended family and look forward to seeing pictures of each pup as they grow into adulthood. We require a $300 non-refundable deposit to be placed on the waiting list for any litter. This will limit the amount of "window shoppers" putting their names down on various breeders' lists and will leave spots open for people who truly want one of our pups, this will help us better manage and plan our upcoming litters. Placement on any list goes according to the order in which the deposits are received. Full payment is required at the time of selection! All puppies purchased include the following:
* 1st Shots * The cost of shipping and shipping crate are extra, there is also an airport delivery fee for puppies requiring shipping. That amount is dependent on which airport the puppy is flying from and what the current gas prices are. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express for making payments easier. There is a $10 service charge applied on credit card payments. Please do not send in deposits without having first been notified by email or phone that you have been accepted as one of our puppy owners, as we do screen all interested parties prior to acceptance. Puppy applications must be filled out by everyone for consideration!
Our Contract and Health Guarantee...
Blazing Star Doodles' Contract and Health Guarantee
One __________________________ Doodle puppy, sold to __________________________________ This puppy is guaranteed to be free of hereditary hip, elbow and eye disorders for a period of 3 years from its date of birth which was _____________________. If such a hereditary disorder did occur, we would replace the puppy with one that is mutually agreeable to both parties or a refund up to the purchase price listed above would be given - whichever is more favorable to the buyer, provided that we are still breeding these dogs. Written proof of the problem must be sent to us by your veterinarian along with documenttation illustrating the problem (ie: x-rays, ophthalmic evaluation, etc). X-rays done for possible hip or elbow problems must be sent to OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) to be graded, those results as well as digital images of the x-rays must be provided to us prior to a replacement puppy or refund being made. Ophthalmic eye exam reports from a CERF certified veterination must be submitted if an eye issue were to be found. It is understood that the puppy should be taken to a vet within 72 hours of the new owner taking possession. If the puppy is found to have a life threatening defect or disease and is returned to the seller within 3 days (at buyer's expense), the puppy will be exchanged for a puppy of equal value when one becomes available. This does not include colds, hypoglycemia, diarrhea, coccidia, giarrdia or other parasites all of which can be stress induced due to the change of homes, driving/flying, etc, and are easily treatable. If the above noted buyer were to at anytime not be able to care for the aforesaid puppy or decided not to keep it for any reason, we are to be notified immediately and arrangements will be made to have the puppy re-homed as soon as possible.
This puppy is to be spayed/neutered between 3 and 7 months of age and written proof of the procedure is to be provided to us by the buyer. A copy of the spay/neuter certificate OR vet bill denoting the procedure can either be emailed, faxed or sent by regular mail. This information must be received by the time the puppy is 8 months old. If proof of spay/neuter is not provided in the required time an email or call reminder will be sent to the buyer requesting proof be submitted within 30 days. If we are not provided proof within the 30 day grace period, we will then assume that the puppy/dog is being used for breeding purposes and we will start legal proceedings to collect $3000 above the purchase price which is the breeding price value of said puppy/dog. The signer/buyer of this contract will also be responsible for all attorney fees and charges incurred by Blazing Star Kennel.

Vaccination Information...
Your puppy is not fully vaccinated at the time that he/she goes home, unless you are getting an older puppy. All puppies require 3 booster shots when living in Canada and 4 booster shots when living in the USA. The typical schedule for booster vaccinations: Your puppy should NOT be taken into public areas until vaccinations are completed. You should AVOID taking them to pet stores, dog parks and rest areas as those places are the most common areas where parvovirus can be picked up. A short walk in your neighborhood is allowable a week after the 10 week booster is administered. We also strongly suggest that you carry and hold your puppy when going to the vet until vaccinations are completed as you just never know whether any ill dogs or puppies have been to the clinic that day or recently. Parvovirus is a virus that is spread through an infected dog's feces, it can be carried on shoes, car tires and is also known to be spread around by birds on their feet. You can pick it up just about anywhere. It is an awful virus that can be deadly if not caught soon enough to treat appropriately. You should take all precautions to ensure the safety and health of your puppy until he/she is completely vaccinated and immune to this virus. Parvo is common in Canada and the Northern USA from spring to fall, warmer provinces and states are prone to it year round. We will not be responsible for any puppies contracting parvovirus after leaving our care. If you have any questions regarding your puppy's vaccinations please feel free to ask. All vaccination records are provided to the new owners when they take their puppy home with instructions on when the next vaccination is due. If you are getting an older puppy you will be told if he/she is already fully vaccinations or if more shots are required.
